How to Work Effectively with Small Business Specialists - Guest Instructor, Tom Larkin

Tue, April 26, 2011

Every federal agency employs Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Specialists (SADBUS). In recent years, many government agencies have changed the titles of these officials to simply Small Business Specialists. Similar positions exist within state and local governments as well as within major prime contractors. These personnel act as advocates for small businesses within the procurement process. This briefing provides instruction on how to best work with these government officials. This class will provide special instruction for Albany-area small businesses interested in doing business with the City of Albany as well as other units of government. All businesses are welcome to attend. Guest instructor Tom Larkin will conduct this class.
